Hi everyone. My name is Beata. I work for Southern Dental in Portsmouth. I started as a receptionist back in July and since the beginning of September I am now training as a dental nurse. I work in a single dental surgery and I have found this job very interesting. Every day and every patient is different.  I know there is still a lot to learn about my new profession, but it is a pleasure to learn about something that you really like doing. Hope it will all go well and the course I started will help with my further career. 

Hi everyone, I'm Lauren and I'm currently working and training at Thurmaston Dental Practice. I'm really enjoying it so far, been at my practice since August. The hardest part for me is also spelling the medications aha and also remembering to give the dentist vaseline when doing a GIC filling...the one thing i always forget! oops!

Hi guys, I'm Nicole, currently working as a trainee dental nurse at Thorpe Lea Dental in South west London. Recently graduated with a BSc in Medical sciences and  was hoping to be working in forensics by now but reality struck and now i'm a dental nurse. Think I got lucky with the practice because my dentist does PST and thats always facinating to watch, along with surgical extractions, personal favorite. I do private from monday to thursday and love fridays because its NHS day and you never know what you are going to get. Anyway, happy studying everyone!
